What God Has Done in 2023

From Our Pastors

TPC Family and Friends,

Once a year we come together as a church to bring a special offering that will leave a Legacy to impact generations to come. This is what our upcoming Legacy Offering is all about: impacting the lives of people in our own community and all around the globe. Together, once a year we gather as families and as individuals to bring one special, sacrificial offering that will accelerate our ability to multiply our impact and advance the Kingdom of God through TPC.

This year’s Legacy focus will in part be with the Greater Things Building Campaign to accelerate our efforts towards being able to break ground on our land purchased last year.  For 2023, we have set a faith goal to raise $50,000.

This faith goal will significantly move us forward by covering the expenses to secure: blue prints of the building, digital renderings of the building, cost analysis & construction budget. With this, we will be able to focus on our next target goal in order to break ground and begin the building process.

We are asking anyone who calls TPC their home, & everyone whose life has been blessed by God through our church, to join in this God-honoring dream and celebration on “Legacy Sunday”, November 19th.

This is our time to practice radical generosity.  Why?  Because, it is our collective generosity, as the Church, that accelerates the vision that God has given to us and we are so grateful to each of you for your prayerful consideration as to how God would have you be a part of Legacy Sunday this year. Our only ask is that you ask God how He would have you give and then you do what is in your heart to do.

Paul said, “Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”  2 Corinthians 9:7

We are honored to join with you in this and we are overwhelmed by all that God has done in the first 9 years of The Purpose Church. Lives are being lived on purpose as they are now planted in the house of the Lord; and the are flourishing!  Make this a family focus, too, by clicking here to receive the Legacy 2023 Parent Cue!

Psalm 92:12-14
“The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age,  they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; he is my Rock.”

God has placed a vision in our hearts to have community-based, neighborhood-focused, life-giving local churches from San Antonio to New Braunfels.  It’s called “small and local” and we believe in it 100%, and it is resonating with families all over.  The proof is in the report below.  God is up to something big and we’re are just getting started.  Take a look at what God has done in just the last 12 months and prayerfully consider how you can be a part of what God is doing on the I-35 Corridor

We love you and are always in your corner,
Pastors Landon and Kelly Kyker
